Google Home Home Mini Launch India April 10 listed Flipkart
Search Engine Giant Google is all set to launch its Google Home and Home Mini In India. Earlier this month a report suggested that Google Home is able to understand the Hindi language. And also according to communication shared by Redington India with its retail partners, Google Home and Home Mini will be officially launched in the country in April 2018. Now, an e-commerce website Flipkart has listed the devices on its website. The listing also reveals their features and confirming the date of the announcement.
Flipkart listed Google Home and Home Mini on the online portal with the tagline ‘Intelligence meets comfort’ and the hashtag #MakeGoogleDoIt. It means Google has done lots of improvement in Google Home, especially on language understanding. Actually, the Google Mini is similar to the Amazon Echo Dot means Google Home Mini will also provide more rooms for more people in a single house.
Amazon’s Echo smart-speakers that are powered by its Alexa voice assistant while Goole Home line of connected speakers is powered by the Google Assistant. The main difference between both smart-speakers is Alexa can’t understand Hindi while Google Assistant is now comfortable with Hindi. The Home is coming few months after Amazon’s smart speakers —Echo, Echo Dot, and Echo Plus – in India.
Flipkart has also provided some feature updates of the Google Home with its listing such as easier to play music, cast videos, control smart home, get news updates, and more. Interested buyers can register yourself to get further updates on Google Home. But there is a limitation on registration means you can register yourself via Flipkart App, not on the website.
However, Flipkart hasn’t provided any information regarding the pricing of the Google Home and Home Mini. Google Home and Home Mini are priced at $129 (roughly Rs. 8,400) and $49 (roughly Rs. 3,200) respectively in the US.
