Google Home Home Mini Launched India lots Offers
Google has launched its smart speakers Google Home and Home Mini today on 10th April 2018 at an Event in New Delhi, India. The company made Google Home and Google Home Mini available to buy online in the country exclusively via Flipkart, and will also be made available via offline stores. These smart speakers will support Google Play Music, YouTube, Netflix, Saavn, and Gaana. At present speakers doesn’t support Hindi, support will be added to Google Home speakers later this year.
Google Home Specifications
The Google Home has touch support on the top surface, which can be used to control playback, volume, and also activate the Google Assistant. Its mic is located on the top panel which offers far-field voice recognition and also identifies different voices with the help of Voice Match technology. Its mic mute button and power status light are located at the back. The top panel also displays the lights that change patterns and colors.
Google Home comes with a high-excursion speaker with a 2-inch driver and dual 2-inch passive radiators. It will be available with a White body, and different-colored speaker material options. The Slate fabric is its default speaker color material. It supports devices running on Android 4.4 KitKat and higher, and iOS 9.1 and higher. For connectivity, the Google Home smart speaker offers dual-band 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi 802.11ac. The device doesn’t support Bluetooth connectivity, it works only with Wi-Fi.
To keep it power up needs to connect by a wall socket, and it comes with an AC power adapter. The Google Home supports HE-AAC, LC-AAC+, MP3, Vorbis, WAV (LPCM), and FLAC audio formats. The speaker also has Chromecast support, which makes easier to stream movies, shows, and music onto their connected TVs or Google Cast speakers. It also works with over 1,000 smart home devices from over 150 brands.
Google Home Mini Specifications
The Google Home Mini comes with four lights on top, which show the speaker is working and turn orange when the mic is muted. The mic mute switch is near the Micro-USB port on the back. Control mechanisms are on the left and right of the Google Home Mini’s lights, which can be used to change volume and start or stop alarms, timers, and calls. The home mini is only available with fabric-based designs. The Home Mini’s speaker is rated to deliver 360-degree sound. Its mic also supports far-field voice recognition. It supports devices running on Android 4.4 KitKat and higher, and iOS 9.1 and higher similar to Google Home.
Google Home and Home Mini Price in India
The Google Home price is priced at Rs 9,999 in India which is the same as the Alexa powered Amazon Echo smart-speaker and the Google Home Mini is priced at Rs 4,499 in India is the same as the Echo Dot. The Google Home will come with a Chalk fabric base, and Coral soon. While the Google Home Mini is available in Chalk and Charcoal fabric colors.

As earlier mentioned the Google Home and Home Mini will be available via online and offline. Flipkart will initially be the exclusive online sales partner and the sale will begin from today. For offline channels, it includes Reliance Digital, Croma, Bajaj Electronics, Vijay Sales, Sangeetha, and Poorvika.

Additional offers include Gaana subscription —free up to October 31, 2018; paying Re. 1 will provide the ad-free subscription to the service for an additional 1.5 years. And also Saavn subscription —free up to October 31, 2018; and as similar Gaana, paying Re. 1 will provide the ad-free subscription to the service for an additional 1.5 years. Both Gaana and Saavn comes as pre-installed with free subscription.
