Microsoft Released New Surface Pro With LTE Connectivity Option

Last year in May Microsoft made an announcement, “going to release a Surface Pro with LTE before December”. So Microsoft launched it with LTE Connectivity Option with some limitation. Its availability was limited to business users only. Now New Surface Pro hs no Limitation. Specifications are listed below-

Now, starting from today there is no limitation, anybody can purchase it. The user can pre-order the LTE version of the Surface Pro from Microsoft or Best Buy.

LTE modem (Qualcomm’s X16 modem) is present in this device. This allows users to connect to the internet by using a nano-SIM in the available nano-SIM slot or using the eSIM on board. It comes with both options and there is a settings menu to let you switch between the nano-SIM or eSIM.

Specifications

  •  a 7th-gen Core i5 7300U processor
  • 4GB of RAM and 128GB storage
    or 8GB RAM and 256GB of storage
  • LTE and ARM processors (Snapdragon 835)

Actually, it was expected to come with an 8th-gen processor and a Core i7 configuration but this did not happen.

The price of 7th-gen Core i5 7300U processor with 4GB of RAM and 128GB storage or 8GB RAM and 256GB of storage Surface Pro is $1,149 and $1,449 respectively.

But these prices don’t include the Surface Pen and Surface Keyboard as you have to purchase separately.
