What Is QLED?

As explained above that QLED is essentially a combination of Quantum Dot and LED, the technology places a layer or film of quantum dots in front of a regular LED backlight panel. It is worth mentioning that conventional displays have an 8-bit panel, however, the SUHD or Smart Ultra HD (4K) TVs have a 10-bit panel. When this 10-bit panel is layered with the Quantum Dot Colour technology, it results in 64 times more color expression of conventional panels, which results in 1 billion different colors. These dots are capable of turning light into color. The blacks appear darker and the whites are brighter because there is no color overlapping or merging of details. This helps produce the true-to-life UHD effect.-topkhoj
