Huawei Mate 10 With Four Cameras Render Reveals Bezel-Less Design

A new leak exposing Huawei’s Mate 10 has spread like wildfire from China. A source had uncovered a number of specifications that will be expected to run on the upcoming device, accompanied by a couple of tasty renders.

These leaked images do align with current rumors and suggestions that the upcoming Mate 10 will be a bezel-less design, with four individual cameras.





In terms of camera setup, the source states that the Mate 10 will come with a 34-megapixel dual-camera setup, with the front-facing shooters will 16-megapixel sensors. The Mate 10 is expected to run the upcoming Android 8.0 “O” with Huawei’s latest EMUI skin on release day. The device will be powered by Huawei’s next HiSilicon Kirin 970 processor (on a new 10nm process) paired with either 6GB or 8GB RAM.

The Mate 10 will feature iris scanning capabilities and unspecified additional features differentiating the Mate 10 to its Mate 9 predecessor.

It’s still early to confirm Mate 10’s specs, design, and release date, but we’re all expecting more leaks to occur closer to the release date, which is expected to be around October this year. If this is accurate, we may see Huawei officially unveil the Mate 10 at IFA Berlin 2017 around September.

Huawei Band 2 & Band 2 Pro Unveiled For International Market

The Huawei Band 2 and Band 2 Pro have first announced in China about two months ago during the launch of the Nova 2 and Nova 2 Plus. Now it seems to have unveiled its latest sports band series for the international market by listing them on its official website.

The Huawei Band 2 and Band 2 Pro comes with a number of features but both vary in their specifications with the Band 2 Pro having the higher configuration. However, both come with the abilities to measure heartbeat, pace, distance, speed, and direction.





The Band 2 Pro packs exclusive features such as GPS sensor, Huawei’s TruSleep virtual sleep hygiene and breathing tracker, and Huawei’s Running Coach. There is also a new feature called VO2 Max which lets the Band 2 Pro examine the maximum rate at which the body of the wearer can import oxygen, transfer it to muscles, and use it as a source of energy. The technology is touted to allow VO2 measurements with an accuracy as high as nearly 95%.

Both Huawei bands also introduce the Training Effect feature, which gauges how an exercise session impacts the wearer’s fitness level and also provide an estimate of the recovery time needed before the next gym session. The wearables are both water resistant and can withstand up to 5 atmospheres of water pressure, which is enough to let users use them in the shower, swimming pool, or outdoors on rainy days.




The Huawei smart bands also come with Bluetooth feature which allows users to pair them to smartphones on which they act as companion devices, displaying alarms, notifications, and messages from the handsets.

The pricing of the Huawei Band 2 and Band 2 Pro was not revealed but during their launch in China, the Huawei Band 2 Pro with GPS function carries a price tag of 388 Yuan (around $57) while the standard Huawei Band 2 comes in at 298 Yuan (~$44). Both bands are presently available in China at these prices on Huawei’s Official Mall (Vmall).

Bezel-Less Honor Note 9 Coming Very Soon Image Leaked

A newly leaked image claiming to be Huawei’s upcoming Honor Note 9. The new leak shows a reassuring bezel-less design resembling the recent Honor 9 sibling.

The bezels on the sides of the phone remain super-thin like the Honor Note 8. There is also the assumption that the device will come in 2.5D glass protecting the screen. The top and bottom bezels are notably thicker than the side bezels, however, remains very narrow relative to other flagship devices. It appears that the volume buttons and power button are located on the right of the Honor Note 9.



The Honor Note 9 is expected to be shipped with a significantly larger display, the Honor Note 9 will certainly come at 6+ inch display. we are expecting a dual-camera setup paired rear-facing facing fingerprint scanner, considering the current trends with flagship smartphones.

The device is expected to be paired with either 4GB or 6GB RAM and multiple storage options. In terms of operating system, the device will come with EMUI 5 (Android 7.0) but should be listed for the EMUI 6 upgrade (Android 8.0).

There is a possibility that the Honor Note 9 will be announced by the end of this month and release later.

New Honor Phone Gets Certified on TENAA

The Huawei independent brand’s Honor. And a new Honor phone has appeared on TENAA  where it has been certified. It comes with the model number MYA-TL10 with specifications that shows the device will be a budget phone. Honor is known for its high-end models but recently, they have spread their tentacles to the mid-range and now the low-end segment.

The TENAA listing shows the Honor phone features a 5-inch display with HD resolution (1280 x 720pixels). It has a dimension of 143.8 x 72 x 8.85mm, weighing just 150g. The model packs a 1.4GHz Quad-core processor backed by 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage. On the camera end, the Huawei Honor smartphone sports an 8MP rear camera with LED flash and at the front, there is a 5MP camera. The device is fueled by a modest 2,920mAh.

The new TENAA certified model comes with a host of network bands including 4G LTE. The phone gets its interface from the Android 6.0 Marshmallow which will likely be modified with Huawei’s EMUI.

Sources have revealed on Weibo that Huawei P20 would be launching before the year 2017 comes to an end as the company has allegedly trademarked Huawei 2 moniker. Various sources on Weibo have revealed that the Huawei P20 will be enhanced version of Huawei P10 Plus because of which it is speculated to launch before the end of the year.

Huawei P20 is speculated to be driven by Kirin 960 chipset and the handset will be made available in 6 GB and 8 GB RAM options. It will be sporting a 5.7-inch Quad HD display that will be delivering a resolution of 2,560 x 1,440 pixels.

The display is speculated to be curved on its left and right sides. It will be fueled by a 4,000mAh battery. It is rumored to include dual rear cameras that will be coupled with features like image stabilization and HDR.

Previous rumors had claimed that the Huawei P20 would be coming in Q1 2018 driven with Kirin 970 chipset. However, newer rumors are claiming that it would be featuring Kirin 960 chipset. Since Huawei P20 is supposed to arrive as a flagship phone with greatest specs, it seems unlikely that the P20 would be launching with Kirin 960 this year.

Huawei is heavily pegged to debut the Huawei Mate 10 flagship this year in October and it is expected to be the first smartphone from the company to come with Kirin 970 chipset. The HiSilicon Kirin 970 chipset is homegrown 10nm SoC from Huawei that is rumored to feature eight cores of Cortex A73 along with Mali-G71MP12.

The Mate 10 is speculated to feature a 6-inch display that will produce a resolution of 2,160 x 1,080 pixels as it is rumored to support an aspect ratio of 18:9.

Huawei Enjoy 7 Launched: Snapdragon 425, 3GB RAM

Huawei has officially announced the Enjoy 7 mid-range smartphone today in China. The Huawei Enjoy 7 is the latest model in the Huawei Enjoy series.

Design & Specifications

The Huawei Enjoy 7 comes with a design which looks rather similar to that of it predecessor when viewed from the front but at the back, there is a slightly different design. The device comes with an all-metal body and is smooth and well-rounded edges. The body is also ultra-thin and has a smooth texture fabricated using sandblasting process.

The Enjoy 7 comes with a rear fingerprint sensor which is touted to unlock the device in just 0.5 seconds. The device also comes with a unique rear camera design which could get you confused that it packs a dual rear camera. There is only one camera up there but the camera and flash are aligned in a horizontal plane located at the left corner bordered just like is seen on dual camera phones.

The Huawei mid-range sports a 5.0-inch 720p display with 2.5D curved glass covering the display. The display comes with a special professional eye protection mode and can effectively filter Blu-ray. The Huawei Enjoy 7 is powered by a Snapdragon 425 processor backed by 3GB RAM with 32GB of storage. There is also a lower version with 2GB RAM and 16GB storage and both storages can be expanded up to 128GB.

Apart from the hardware, the Enjoy 7 comes with Ultra Memory background memory compression technology which would provide more fluid experience. The mobile device also provides F2FS intelligent file management system, which would allow users sort the system trash and thus help save memory.

The Huawei Enjoy 7 sports a 13MP rear camera with PDAF support, slow motion, HDR, voice shutter, self-timer, and other functions. The Enjoy 7 also features a 5MP front-facing selfie camera. In addition, the Enjoy 7 gets its juice from a 3,020mAh battery and the device uses a smart electricity 5.0 technology which keeps the battery long lasting.

Pricing & Availability

The Huawei Enjoy 7 comes in black, red, blue, streamer gold, champagne gold, and pink. As for the prices, the Huawei Enjoy 7 base version – 2GB + 16GB storage is priced at 899 yuan (~$132) while the higher version with 3GB +32GB storage is priced at 1099 yuan (~$161). The pre-sale for the device started today while the device will go on sale on July 15 at 10 AM via Huawei Mall (Vmall) and other authorized dealers.

Huawei is gearing up to launch the successor of the Mate 9 smartphone, and according to the latest tip, that Huawei Mate 10 may see an unveil in October this year. Furthermore, the Huawei Mate 10 smartphone is also tipped to sport a bezel-less design and facial recognition as well.

According to report the Huawei Mate 10 will come with facial recognition, support for AR features, and will be equipped with 3D sensing as well. The report states that the smartphone may also be embedded with iris scanning.

Huawei Mate 9 was launched last year in November at a retail price of EUR 699 (roughly Rs. 51,600) inclusive of taxes. The dual-SIM Huawei Mate 9 runs EMUI 5.0 based on Android 7.0 Nougat, and sports a 5.9-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) IPS display. It is powered by the HiSilicon Kirin 960 octa-core SoC coupled with 4GB of RAM. It bears a fingerprint sensor on the rear panel, which supports gestures.

The Huawei Mate 9 sports the ‘second-generation Leica dual-lens camera’, which has been ‘co-engineered’ with Leica. The Huawei Mate 9 bears a 20-megapixel monochrome sensor and a 12-megapixel RGB sensor, both with f/2.2 apertures. On the front, the smartphone bears an 8-megapixel sensor with a f/1.9 aperture. The Mate 9 comes with 64GB of inbuilt storage that’s expandable via microSD card (up to 256GB, hybrid dual-SIM design), and sports a 4000mAh battery.

The Huawei Mate 10 is expected to be powered by a HiSilcon Kirin 970 SoC built on the 10nm process. The smartphone is also expected to integrate its fingerprint scanner underneath the display. This display, as mentioned, will be bezel-less, and sport a 6-inch (1080×2160 pixels) display with 18:9 aspect ratio.

There’s no mention of the Mate 10 from Huawei officially, and these rumors should be taken with a pinch of salt till then. If this leak holds any truth, then more from Huawei should be heard in a few months.
