New LG Flagship LGE-LH932PR Listed On GeekBench
Since LG has officially confirmed that it will hold a launch event on August 31. Most Probably LG may release LG V30 on the said date. However, a new flagship has appeared on GeekBench from the company. According to their specifications, new flagship suggests that it could be the LG V30 smartphone.
If LGE-LH932PR could be LG V30 it will be powered by Snapdragon 835 chipset that includes a 1.9GHz octa-core processor. The SoC is supported by 4 GB of RAM and it is running on Android 7.1.2 Nougat OS. The alleged LG V30 has scored 1899 in the single-core test and in the multi-core test, it has recorded a score of 6350.
Rumors also suggest that LG V30 will come with a 6-inch OLED screen. Some sources claim that it would be featuring a 5.7-inch OLED screen. The upcoming LG V30 will be the first smartphone from the company to feature an OLED panel.
The LG V30 will also come with a Glass Back and will Support Wireless Charging. Other specs that it is expected to come on the LG V30 include a rear-mounted fingerprint reader, 13-megapixel dual rear cameras, and Android O.

In the previous month, a South Korean publication had revealed that LG would be launching the V30 flagship phone on Aug. 31. Today, Evan Blass, the well-known tipster, has released a leaked invitation from LG will be launching a new smartphone on Aug. 31. It seems that the LG V30 will be indeed launching on Aug. 31.

The unique features of LG V series flagship the secondary ticker screen that show notifications and frequently used apps is unlikely to be present on the LG V30.

No Secondary Ticker Screen For LG V30
One of the distinguishing features of the LG V series flagship phones is it secondary screen. Fresh speculations suggest that the upcoming LG V30 may not feature the secondary ticker screen.
Although the secondary screen is a unique feature which sits above the main screen on LG V10 and LG V20 phones, it seems that it failed to impress the consumers. According to XDA Developers that claims to have received information from a “trusted source,” the South Korean company may ditch the secondary screen on the LG V30.
XDA’s report does not clearly mention whether LG would be ditching the ticker or the secondary screen feature entirely from its upcoming flagship. LG is expected to switch to OLED panel for LG V30 in this year, the probable reason behind removing the secondary screen from LG V30 is that its display may carry support for 18:9 aspect ratio that was introduced on LG G6’s Full Vision Display.
There is a possibility that the tall screen that will be arriving on the LG V30 may have a section at the top to display the contents of the ticker screen.
The publication has further claimed that the Snapdragon 835 chipset will be powering the LG V30 along with 4 GB of RAM. It will be coming with a native storage of 64 GB. Previous reports have stated that it would be also available 6 GB RAM option. The upcoming flagship phablet from LG will also feature a microSD card slot.
As far as the launch date of LG V30 is concerned, it is speculated to get announced at the end of August. Also, it may get showcased at the IFA 2017 event that will be held between Sept. 1 to 6 in Berlin, Germany.

But, LG has never used the IFA platform to announce the LG V series smartphones probably because these phones have not been launched in European markets.
However, Samsung will launch the Galaxy Note 8 at the August end and the New iPhone will come in September. It will make more sense if the LG G7 flagship smartphone is unveiled at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2018 in Barcelona that is usually used for showcasing mobile devices.
LG takes more time to develop a phone. An LG rep also quotes that “Nothing has been decided on the launch schedule of the upcoming phones”.
