The 4GB RAM/ 32GB storage variant of BlackBerry KEY2 LE price has been set at $399 (~Rs. 28,300) for the US region. The company sets the global price tags of the Key2 LE is EUR 399, GBP 349, and CAD 519. There’s also a 4GB RAM/ 64GB storage variant available at price $449 (~Rs. 31,900). The global price for the BlackBerry Key2 LE is set to EUR 429, GBP 399, and CAD 579. Markets including Canada, France, Germany, UAE, UK, and the US will start selling the Key2 LE form next month. The device will be available in Atomic, Champagne, and Slate color options.
BlackBerry Key2 LE specifications
In terms of key specifications, the BlackBerry Key2 LE features a 4.5-inch full-HD+ (1080×1620 pixels) IPS LCD display with a 3:2 aspect ratio. It has a pixel density of 434ppi, and 24-bit color depth. There’s a Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 SoC, paired with 4GB of RAM and 32GB/ 64GB of onboard storage powering the device. The handset has also support for an external microSD card up to 256GB.
BlackBerry Key2 LE will be available in both single and dual-SIM. It runs Android 8.1 Oreo out-of-the-box and packs a 3,000mAh battery with support for 18W Quick Charge 3.0. Sensors on board there’s an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, magnetometer, and proximity sensor. Ie equips a fingerprint sensor on the spacebar. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0 LE, NFC, GPS/ A-GPS, GLONASS, and USB Type-C with OTG.
In terms of optics, the BlackBerry KEY2 LE features a dual rear camera setup of a 13MP primary sensor, with f/2.2 aperture and PDAF. While the 5MP secondary sensor comes with f/2.4 aperture. The rear camera is coupled with dual tone LED flash. On the front, there’s an 8-megapixel fixed focus sensor with LCD selfie flash and supports full-HD recording.
