Upcoming flagship smartphones from the search engine giant are expected to arrive at the start of October 2018. The recent leaks show only the Pixel 3 duo design, not their specifications. But now Google Pixel 3 XL specifications leaked through a Geekbench listing today.
Google Pixel 3 XL specifications according to Geekbench
The Google Pixel 3 XL is powered by a Qualcomm processor with 4 GB of RAM. Since the smartphone will be a flagship, likely to feature Snapdragon 845 SoC. The flagship runs on Android 9.0 P. The Geekbench listing also shows the codename “crosshatch” of the Pixel 3 XL.
Since the listing suggests that Pixel 3 XL has 4GB of RAM, however, most flagship phones that have launched this year include 6 GB of RAM. The Google Pixel 3 XL scores 2426 and 8355 points in the single-core and multi-core tests respectively. The scores are not bad according to RAM but also not impressive.
Hence, there is a possibility that Pixel 3 XL may also come in 6GB RAM variant because some mid-range smartphones such as ASUS ZenFone Max Pro M1 and Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro are featuring 6GB RAM.
Some recent reports suggest that the Google Pixel 3 will come with an 18:9 aspect ratio while the Pixel 3 XL will feature a notched display with a 19:9 aspect ratio. The Pixel 3 and 3 XL are also expected include dual front-facing cameras and single rear camera. Both smartphones would carry support for wireless charging.
