HP Chromebook X2 Comes Pen Support Detachable Keyboard

The demand for 2-in-1 laptops is high. Now HP has announced an affordable HP Chromebook x2 as a 2-in-1. The X2 Chromebook is cheaper as compared to Microsoft Surface devices. HP Chromebook x2 will launch in the U.S. market in June with a price of $599.

HP Chromebook x2 provides a premium and very compact design at the affordable prove tag. The device is made of metal, it is scratch-resistant and also has an AED treatment (Anodized Electrodeposition) which creates an effect similar to white ceramic. This laptop weight is only 1440 grams including keyboard and it has a total thickness of just 8.2 mm. According to the company, the device can provide up to 10.5 hours of battery life.

HP Active Pen has the same as certain Specter x360 and Envy x360 with AAAA battery and 1024 pressure levels. The stylus has also better compatibility with Android applications for freehand writing and drawing.

HP Chromebook X2 is a 2-in-1 comes with a 12.3-inch display. The screen has an IPS LCD technology with a resolution of 2400×1600 pixels (235 ppi) and it is also protected by Gorilla Glass.

The new X2 Chromebook has Intel Core m3-7Y30 processor coupled with 4 GB of LPDDR3 RAM and 32 GB of storage (+100 GB of Google Drive cloud space for 2 years). The device also includes support for microSD player, Wi-Fi ac 2×2 with Bluetooth 4.2, and two cameras —the 5-megapixel front and the 13-megapixel rear.

According to information, The HP Chromebook X2 comes with a high-quality magnetic dock which makes easier to connect the device to its detachable keyboard. It is much easier, the user will need just one hand to do.

The device also features 2 USB-C ports, a 3.5 mm audio jack, the B & O audio system, and the typical tablet sensor range —accelerometer, gyroscope, ambient light sensor, proximity sensor and digital compass.
