Jio Home TV launch Soon Offers HD Channels Rs 400

The Indian telecom giant Reliance Jio is going to offer a fresh change in Indian DTH (direct to home) Service. The company may soon launch Jio Home TV, based on Enhanced Multimedia Broadcast Multicast Service (eMBMS).

A report according to Gadgets 360, the company is planning to soon launch its new Jio Home TV service, a modified version of the Jio Broadcast app, which was recently being tested for streaming HD content on selected devices. This feature will be available for all users Prime, non-prime both. The company will roll out this with a rebranded version called Jio Home TV.

To provide HD content in high volume, the Jio Home TV combines the capabilities of TV channel and radio architecture. According to eMBMS, said that there will be no internet connection required for watching TV on Jio Home TV. Users can access the content on Jio Home TV in offline mode.

According to a report, Jio Home TV will offer SD (Standard Definition) channels for a monthly rental of Rs 200 and SD + HD (High Definition) channels at Rs 400 per month. I think this is not cheap for those people who live in a village.

What do you think, Rs 400 is a heavy amount for villagers or not. Share your opinion in the comment box.
