The Korean smartphone manufacturer LG has launched the budget LG Q7 in India. But it looks like the smartphone arrives lately because there’s heavy competition in the Indian smartphone market at this budget. The LG Q7 is the successor to LG Q6 from last year.

The LG Q7 will be available at a price tag of Rs. 15,990. It will be available for purchase through across retail outlets starting September 1. The phone comes in two colors Aurora Black and Moroccan Blue.

The handset features a 5.5-inch FullVision (1080×2160 pixels) Display with an 18:9 aspect ratio. There’s an Octa-core MediaTek MT6750S chipset clocked at 1.5Ghz. The SoC is coupled with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. It runs Android Oreo out of the box and packs a 3000mAh battery with Quick Charge support.

For photography, the smartphone includes a 13MP rear sensor with a large f2.2 aperture and PDAF. While on the front, there is an 8MP sensor with an f1.9 aperture. Both the front and back cameras are capable to record 1080p video.

LG may introduce the Q7 Plus with a similar design but having a Snapdragon 450 processor in the near future.
