A couple of months ago Xiaomi had launched Mi 8, Mi 8 Explorer Edition, alongside these, also announced Mi Band 3. Later the launch of Mi Band 3, the company had teased Mi Band 3 Explorer Edition. The Mi Band 3 Explorer Edition features a translucent rubber strap.
Mi Band 3 Explorer Edition Appearance
Yesterday, Mijia (Xiaomi’s sub-brand) had shared fresh photos of Mi Band 3 Explorer Edition with a translucent band on its Weibo account. The appearance of Mi Band 3 Explorer Edition on Weibo suggests that it’s launching soon.
However, there is no info available about the specs of the main device of the Mi Band 3 Explorer Edition. The appearance of the main device suggests that it’ll have a touchscreen OLED display the same as the regular version. The only major difference on the Explorer Edition could be the translucent strap. The Mi Band 3 is available in three strap colors – black, orange and blue.
Xiaomi Mi Band 3 Price
The Xiaomi Mi Band 3 is currently available at price of 169 Yuan (~$25). The company has confirmed that the NFC enabled Mi Band 3 will be available in September. The NFC variant is expected to be available at price of 199 Yuan (~$29). However, there is no confirmation on the Mi Band 3 Explorer Edition that it’ll have the NFC feature or not.
The manufacturers of Mi Band 3, Huami also teased a customized version of the Mi Band 3 to mark its IPO offering. The customized edition appeared with the “1810” stock code on its strap along with some Chinese text.
The Xiaomi Mi Band 3 has an IP67 certification that provides a dustproof and waterproof body. The banc comes with a 0.78-inch OLED touchscreen and a 110mAh battery. It offers various health-tracking features like heart rate monitor, calorie counter, steps calculator, sedimentary reminder and sleep tracker. The Mi Band 3 also include some other features like weather forecast, notifications for calls and SMS, event reminder and find my phone.
