A couple of months ago Motorola has launched total six new smartphones including its G-series and E-series. The E-series includes entry-level smartphones – Moto E5, Moto E5 Plus, and Moto E5 Play. Now the company has started launching Moto E5 play in European and Latin American countries. But this time the smartphone launches as Moto E5 Play Android Go edition. Motorola has announced the new variant Moto E5 Play Android GO edition as a budget smartphone. The company has also made some changes in its specifications.
Moto E5 Play Android Go Edition Price and Availability
The new Moto E5 Play variant comes with Android Oreo (Go edition). The smartphone will be available in European and Latin American markets starting this month. It has been priced at EUR 109 (roughly Rs 8,700). Motorola has not yet said anything about the availability in the Indian market.
Moto E5 Play Android Go Edition Specifications
The new Moto E5 Play variant features a 5.3-inch display with 18:9 aspect ratio. While the original Moto E5 play comes with a 5.2-inch display with a 16:9 aspect ratio. This variant includes an 8-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with flash. There’s no info about its processor and RAM. But the original Moto E5 Play comes with 2GB of RAM. According to the original one we can expect 1GB RAM of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. The phone storage is also expandable up to 128GB via a microSD card.
This new Moto E5 Play variant could pack a 2800mAh battery, water-repellent coating, and Snapdragon 425/ 427 SoC. Just assuming no sure. The phone also features a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor underneath the Moto logo.
