Motorola Moto G6 Moto G6 Play Moto G6 Plus Specifications
After a lot of rumors and expectations, Motorola has finally launched the sixth generation Moto G6 series at an event in Brazil. This Sixth Generation G Series includes —Moto G6, Moto G6 Play, Moto G6 Plus smartphones. The Moto G6 is priced at €250 ($249, approx Rs 17,000), the G6 Play at €200 ($199, approx Rs 14,000), and Moto G6 Plus will sell for €300 (∼$371, approx Rs 25,000). All these prices are for the base models only.
All new G-Series comes with a 3D glass on the rear finish, a new MAX Vision display with an 18:9 aspect ratio and a redesigned/repositioned fingerprint scanner.
Moto G6 Specifications
The Moto G6 comes with a 5.7” FHD+ display. Both sides of the Moto G6 is protected by Gorilla Glass 3. The handset is powered by a Snapdragon 450 processor coupled with 3GB/4GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB of native storage variants.
The smartphone features a dual rear camera setup of a 12MP sensor with a f/1.8 and a 5MP camera for capturing the depth of field information. The phone also features an 8MP of front camera sensor with LED flash.
There is also a redesigned fingerprint scanner below the display that also works as a gesture. The device runs on Android 8.0 Oreo and packed with a 3,000mAh battery has support for TurboPower fast charging. The device also includes Bluetooth 4.2, a USB-C port.
Moto G6 Play Specifications
The Moto G6 Play comes with a 5.7” MAX Vision display with HD+ resolution supports. The rear panel of the Moto G6 is covered with polymer glass. The device is powered by a Snapdragon 430 processor, coupled with 3GB/4GB RAM and 32GB/64GB storage variants.
The G6 Play also features a dual rear camera setup of a 13MP sensor with F/2.0 and a 5MP camera as a secondary camera. There is also an 8MP front camera with LED flash. In this case, the fingerprint sensor has placed on the back. The handset also packs a massive 4,000mAh battery.
Moto G6 Plus Specifications
The Moto G6 Plus comes with a larger 5.9” MAX Vision FHD+ display protected by Gorilla Glass 3 on both sides. The handset is powered by Snapdragon 630 SoC, coupled with 4GB/6GB RAM and 64GB/128GB of native storage. The user can also expand phone memory via MicroSD card up to 128GB.
The G6 Plus also features a dual rear camera setup of a 12MP sensor with f/1.7 and a 5MP sensor as a secondary camera for depth of field. The camera can also record 4K having a dual Pixel autofocus. For selfie, the handset features an 8MP camera with a LED flash. There is also a fingerprint sensor on the front. The smartphone comes with a smaller 3,200mAh battery according to its processor. The device also includes a USB-C port and Bluetooth 5.0.
Availability of Moto G6 family
The G6 series is already available in Brazil starting today and will be available in Mexico next week. Only the Moto G6 and Moto G6 Play will be sold in North America and will be available in the first week of May.
