Last month HMD Global launched Nokia 7 Plus at MWC 2018 in Barcelona. According to the company, the phone recently went on sale in China and sold out within 5 minutes. Now, the company is looking forward to launching this phone in India.
According to me, the Nokia 7 Plus would be the best midrange phone in India if it comes on time. However, the phone features a 6-inch IPS Full HD+ display with a screen resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels. It has Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.
The smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor clocked at 2.2GHz, with 4GB/6GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage. Both models come with microSD card slot so users can expand the phone’s storage capacity up to 256GB.
The Nokia 7 Plus features a dual rear camera setup of a 12-megapixel wide-angle primary camera with f/1.75 aperture and 1.4-micron pixels, as a 13-megapixel secondary camera with a f/2.6 aperture, 1um pixels, and 2x optical zoom. The rear camera setup includes a dual-tone LED flash and camera features Zeiss optics. For selfie the phone packs with a 16-megapixel fixed focus snapper with a f/2.0 aperture, 1um pixels, and Zeiss optics.
For connectivity it has 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, USB Type-C (2.0). It runs on stock Android 8.0 Oreo which will soon be upgraded to Android 8.1.
The device is packed with a 3800mAh battery, and the company claims is it is capable to deliver up to 2-day long battery backup on a single charge.
