Nokia 7 Plus Nokia 8 Sirocco Expected Launch India 4th
HMD Global, the company who owns Nokia, has announced going to hold a launch event in India on 4th April. The company already started sending out media invites —“We welcome you to Explore. Express. Create. Reimagine. We welcome you to discover the N-powered city of tomorrow.”
At the launch event the company is expected to launch its newly unveiled smartphones—Nokia 7 Plus and Nokia 8 Sirocco. According to previous report Nokia will make available its Nokia 7 Plus smartphone in the Indian Market in earlier April.
At MWC 2018 the company also announced Nokia 8110 4G and Nokia 1. The company has already launched Nokia 1 Android Go Edition in India Market.
If we talk about Nokia 7 plus, the phone comes with a 6-inch Full HD+ FullView display supports 2160 × 1080 pixels screen resolution with 18:9 aspect ratio and 2.5D curved glass cover with a Gorilla Glass 3. The device is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor paired with 4GB RAM and 64 GB of internal storage. The handset also supports micoSD card.
The handset runs on Android 8.0 Oreo operating system out-of-the-box. There’s also a fingerprint sensor on the rear panel of the phone.
The Nokia 7 Plus features a dual rear camera setup of 12MP as a primary shooter with f/1.75 aperture, 1.4µm pixel size with ZEISS optics and a secondary 13MP snapper with 1.0µm pixel size, F2.6 aperture with ZEISS optics. The device also features a 16MP sensor on the front for taking selfies and video calling.
On the other hand Nokia 8 Sirocco is a premium phone features a 5.5-inch QHD pOLED display supports 2560×1440 pixels screen resolution with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The device also comes with powerful Soc i.e. Snapdragon 835 paired with 6GB RAM, and 128GB storage. The handset also allow users to expand phone memory up to 256GB via microSD card. The handset also comes with IP67 water-and-dust certification.
The handset runs on Android Oreo operating system and is powered by a 3,260mAh battery. It has also fast-charging support as well as Qi Wireless Charging support.
The Nokia 8 Sirocco edition also features a dual rear camera setup of 12 MP as a primary shooter with 2L7 wide-angle lens, 1.4um pixel size, f/1.7 aperture and a 13MP as a secondary snapper with a 3M3 Telephoto lens, 1.0um pixel size, f/2.6 aperture. The device also features a 5MP camera with 1.4um pixel size for taking selfies and video calling.
The HMD Global also said that both the devices are part of Android One Program and will get faster software updates and monthly security patches.
