Xiaomi Mi Max 2 Finally launched at an official event in China today. This is the most flagship smartphone of the company. 

Design wise this phone doesn’t look more impressive the only changes was done at the back are the antenna band design on the top as well as the bottom. The fingerprint sensor is still on the back. The design looks a bit curvier than before.

Xiaomi Mi Max 2 comes in two varients one is with 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage and second one is with 4GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It comes with Snapdragon 625 chipset.

The Mi Max 2 comes with the same 12MP IMX386 sensor with dual tone LED flash and 5MP front-facing camera for selfies. The pixel size has been increased to 1.25um for better quality pictures along with a night mode enhancement feature. Other camera specs include PDAF, dual tone LED flash, and dynamic range adjustment.

It has 6.44-inch display and Max 2 runs on Android 7 with MIUI 8.2.

The Mi Max comes with a large 5300mAh battery that promises up to 18 hours of video playback. You can get 9 hours of gaming, 21 hour navigation, 57 hour talktime, and 10 day music playback with this huge battery on board. Further, charging it won’t be an issue since the phone supports QC 3.0 and charges up to 68% in an hour.

Geekbench’s appearance doesn’t usually reveal so much about the specification of the phone but it does reveal something.
