ZTE is trying to overcome after US ban. The company has released a poster on its official Twitter account, announcing that ZTE will be at this year’s IFA holding in Berlin, Germany. The poster hints the company may announce a 5G related product. It could be a 5G smartphone because there is an outline of a phone on the poster.
There’s also another hint from those who have received ZTE’s invitation, said there is a number “9” in the letter. The number “9” may indicate the Axon 9. Therefore, it is believed that the Axon 9 with 5G enabled will be announced at the event.
Earlier this year by the company’s CEO who said the Axon 9 will be the successor to 2016’s Axon 7. Later, alleged leaked photos of the Axon 9 revealed it will have an 18:9 aspect ratio display and dual rear cameras.
The display is expected to be a 6” QHD+ panel. The smartphone will feature a Snapdragon 845 chipset, paired with 4GB/6GB RAM and 64GB/256GB internal storage. The phone is also expected to run on Android Oreo out of the box.
