Manu Kumar Jain confirms that the Xiaomi Redmi 6 series smartphones will include Redmi 6A, Redmi 6 and Redmi 6 Pro. Now the Xiaomi 6 series smartphones have been launched in India. The new Xiaomi 6 series smartphones come to India with a tagline of “Desh Ke Naye Smartphones”. The Xiaomi Redmi 6A, Redmi 6 and Redmi 6 Pro was first launched in China in June this year. The Redmi 6A and Redmi 6 came together in the Chinese market but the Redmi 6 Pro came alone later that month.
A launch event of Xiaomi has launched the Redmi 6A, Redmi 6, and Redmi 6 Pro in the India market. Xiaomi Redmi 6A, Redmi 6, Redmi 6 Pro price in India, availability
The Redmi 6A will be available in India at price Rs. 5,999 for the 2GB RAM RAM/ 16GB internal storage model. While the 2GB RAM/ 32GB storage model costs at Rs. 6,999 in India. The Xiaomi Redmi 6A will be available for purchase for the first time on September 19 through Amazon India and Mi.com. This introductory pricing will hold only for 2 months, then after it could increase if the rupee freefall continues against the dollar. It comes in Black, Gold, Rose Gold and Blue hues.
On the other hand, Xiaomi Redmi 6 prices in India at Rs. 7,999 for the 3GB RAM/ 32GB onboard storage variant. While the 4GB RAM/ 64GB inbuilt storage model will be available at Rs. 9,499. However, the handset will be sold starting September 10 via Flipkart and Mi.com. These prices are introductory and will hold only for two months and then after we may see increment as like Redmi 6A. Like the Redmi 6A, this model comes in Black, Gold, Rose Gold and Blue color options.
At last the Redmi 6 Pro comes in India at price Rs. 10,999 for the 3GB RAM/ 32GB storage model. While the price for 4GB RAM/ 64GB storage variant sets at Rs. 12,999. The Redmi 6 Pro will be available for purchase via Amazon India and Mi.com starting September 11. The launch offer includes Rs. 500 discount for HDFC Bank credit or debit cards holder if the use their card while buying the Redmi 6A and Redmi 6 Pro models. The Redmi 6 Pro will we available in Red, Black, Gold, and Blue color options.

The Redmi 6A features a 5.45-inch HD+ (720×1440 pixels) display with an 18:9 aspect ratio. There’s a MediaTek Helio A22 SoC, paired with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of inbuilt storage. The phone has a dedicated slot for external microSD card up to 256GB. The company claims the SoC 39% faster than Redmi 5A.
It is a dual-SIM (Nano) smartphone runs MIUI 9.6 on top, Android 8.1 Oreo out-of-the-box. There is a 3,000mAh battery, the company claims it will deliver up to 40 percent more power.
For connectivity options it includes 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth v4.2, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB, and a 3.5 headphone jack. Sensors onboard it has an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, an electronic compass, and a proximity sensor.
In terms of photography, the Redmi 6A offers a single 13-megapixel rear camera sensor with PDAF and f/2.2 aperture. There is also a 5MP camera sensor on the front for selfies and video calling.

The front camera sensor also has certain AI beautification capabilities.

Redmi 6 Pro features a 5.84-inch full-HD+ (1080×2280 pixels) display with a 19:9 aspect ratio. It features a display notch with the option to hide the notch. since it is the most premium smartphone out of the three Redmi phones launched in India today, it offers a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 SoC, paired with an Adreno 506 GPU, 3GB/ 4GB of RAM, and 32GB/ 64GB of internal storage.
It runs MIUI 9.6 based on top of Android Oreo and packs a 4,000mAh battery. For connectivity options, the handset includes 4G VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Sensors onboard there’s an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, digital compass, gyroscope, infrared, and a proximity sensor.
