Infinix GT 50 Pro Officially Launched in India: MediaTek Dimensity 8400 Ultimate, 144Hz AMOLED, 6,500mAh Battery, and ₹24,999 Accessory Bundle

Targeting mobile gamers and power users who demand sustained performance without thermal throttling, Infinix has officially launched its flagship gaming smartphone in India: the Infinix GT 50 Pro.

Marking a major generational step up from its predecessors, the device combines high-end silicon, a high-refresh display, and an expansive battery with aggressive cyber-mecha aesthetics.

Priced in India at ₹69,999 for the single 12GB RAM and 256GB storage configuration (with higher 512GB tiers scaling up to ₹89,990), the GT 50 Pro is positioned as a comprehensive gaming powerhouse.

To sweeten the launch, Infinix is bundling a complete GT 50 Pro Gaming Ecosystem accessory kit worth ₹24,999 directly in the retail box at no extra cost.

Design & Cyber-Mecha Aesthetics

Continuing the signature sci-fi design language of the GT lineup, the phone is built to stand out:

• Cyber-Mecha Rear Panel: The back chassis features transparent mechanical window accents, customizable LED notification strips, and visible liquid cooling channels inspired by sci-fi mecha design.
• Color Finishes: Offered in two striking colorways: Black Abyss and Red Blaze.
• Pressure-Sensitive GT Triggers 2.0: Built directly into the frame rails, the capacitive shoulder triggers provide tactile, low-latency feedback for first-person shooters and racing titles, eliminating the need for physical clip-on triggers.

Visuals: 6.78-Inch 144Hz AMOLED Display

The front canvas is engineered for high-framerate competitive gaming and media consumption:

• 6.78-Inch 1.5K AMOLED Panel: Pushing a resolution of 1208 × 2644 pixels in a 20.5:9 aspect ratio, the screen delivers sharp text and rich color saturation.
• 144Hz Refresh Rate & 330Hz Touch Sampling: Supports an ultra-smooth 144Hz refresh rate backed by an instantaneous 330Hz touch sampling rate (with burst responsiveness reaching up to 2800Hz), ensuring zero touch lag during fast-paced swipe gestures.
• High-Frequency PWM Dimming: Incorporates up to 2304Hz PWM dimming to eliminate screen flicker in low-light environments, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i and backed by TÜV Low Blue Light certification.

Performance Core: MediaTek Dimensity 8400 Ultimate

Under the hood, the GT 50 Pro runs on advanced 4nm processing silicon designed for sustained graphical rendering:

• MediaTek Dimensity 8400 Ultimate (4nm): Powered by an octa-core CPU featuring ARM Cortex-A725 cores clocked up to 3.25 GHz, paired with advanced Mali graphics. In benchmark evaluations, the platform achieves an impressive AnTuTu score nearing 1.96 million points.
• HydroFlow Liquid Cooling Architecture: To prevent thermal throttling during extended gaming sessions, the phone utilizes an oversized vapor chamber and visible liquid cooling channels that dissipate heat away from the CPU core.
• Memory & Storage: Configured with 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM (plus up to 12GB of virtual RAM extension) and 256GB of high-speed UFS 4.1 internal storage.
• Software: Ships with XOS 16 based on Android 16 out of the box, featuring a dedicated Game Mode dashboard for managing CPU performance profiles, screen recording, and notification blocking.

Power Subsystem: 6,500mAh Battery & Multi-Protocol Charging

Battery endurance is a core focus of the GT 50 Pro architecture:

• 6,500mAh High-Density Cell: Packing a massive 6,500mAh battery, the device easily handles multi-hour competitive gaming marathons or up to two full days of standard everyday productivity.
• 45W Wired Fast Charging: Refills the large battery cell efficiently using the bundled 45W adapter.
• Wireless & Reverse Charging: Uniquely for a gaming-focused device in this class, it supports 30W wireless charging, 10W reverse wired charging, and 5W reverse wireless charging to top up wireless earbuds on the go.

Optics: 50MP OIS Camera System

While optimized for gaming, the camera module handles everyday content creation:

• 50MP Primary Wide Camera (f/1.8, OIS): The main sensor features optical image stabilization for steady 4K video recording at up to 60fps and clear low-light photography.
• 8MP Ultra-Wide Angle Lens: Captures expansive landscape shots and group photos.
• 13MP Front Selfie Camera: Housed in a center punch-hole, supporting 4K video streaming and wide selfie modes.

The ₹24,999 Bundled Gaming Ecosystem Accessories

One of the most aggressive promotional elements of the Indian launch is the inclusion of a full mobile gaming accessory suite packed inside the retail box at no extra charge:

• GT NX Controller: A modular physical gamepad attachment that docks securely around the phone for console-grade analog stick and button controls.
• GT NX Station: A desktop docking hub for connecting external displays, power, and wired peripherals.
• GT MagCharge Cooler 2.0: An active semiconductor magnetic cooling fan that snaps onto the back of the phone to actively chill surface temperatures during heavy 3D gaming.
• GT MagSafe Protective Case: A custom-molded magnetic casing designed to secure the cooling fan and wireless accessories.
