Honor Unveils Magic V6 Foldable With Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Priced From $1,200

Honor has launched its new Magic V6 foldable smartphone in China, powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip and starting at 8,999 yuan (about 1,250 dollars) for the 12GB/256GB model.​

The Magic V6 features a so‑called “black diamond” foldable display with 5,600 silicon nitride layers which Honor claims triples wear resistance and cuts crease visibility by 44 percent compared to its predecessor. The inner screen reaches up to 5,000 nits brightness (6,000 nits on the cover screen) supports 4,320Hz PWM dimming and stylus input and is rated for improved impact resistance with a multi‑layer structure including UTG glass and a carbon‑fiber support layer.
