XElectron Launches 15.6-Inch Large Digital Photo Frame in India at ₹10,990: Full HD IPS Touchscreen, Frameo Wi-Fi Sharing, and 32GB Storage

To offer families a seamless way to keep everyday memories visible rather than buried in instant messaging chats and smartphone galleries, Noida-based consumer tech pioneer XElectron has officially launched its 15.6-Inch Large Digital Photo Frame in India.

Targeted as a thoughtful festive and Diwali gifting option for parents, grandparents, and long-distance relatives, the smart digital frame features an introductory festive offer price of ₹10,990 (against a standard retail price of ₹11,990). Moving beyond conventional 8-inch and 10-inch frames, the device combines a 15.6-inch Full HD IPS touchscreen, home-decor-friendly wooden-look bezels, Wi-Fi remote photo and video sharing powered by Frameo, 32GB of internal storage, and broad plug-and-play port compatibility.

Expansive 15.6-Inch Full HD IPS Touchscreen with Wooden-Look Bezels

The primary highlight of the XElectron Large Digital Photo Frame is its physical display size and aesthetic design:

• 15.6-Inch Viewing Area: While standard digital photo frames typically range from 7 to 10.1 inches, XElectron’s 15.6-inch footprint gives portraits, landscape captures, and holiday albums substantial visual breathing room, functioning like an architectural mini-display on a living-room console or mantelpiece.
• Full HD (1920 × 1080) IPS Panel: The screen utilizes an in-plane switching (IPS) panel with a 16:9 aspect ratio. The IPS architecture ensures 178-degree wide viewing angles, maintaining accurate contrast and true-to-life skin tones whether viewed from across the sofa or off to the side.
• Furniture-Matching Wooden Aesthetic: To ensure the device integrates naturally into living spaces rather than looking like an impersonal computer monitor, XElectron has framed the display in textured, wooden-look bezels that complement traditional and contemporary home interiors.
• Orientation Flexibility: The frame supports both horizontal landscape and vertical portrait placement, with onboard sensors auto-rotating photos to match the active orientation.

Instant Remote Sharing via the Frameo Platform

The frame is engineered around effortless remote photo and video transmission, enabling family members separated by distance to share moments in real time:

• Direct Wi-Fi Pairing: Once connected to a 2.4GHz home Wi-Fi network, the frame generates an encrypted, single-use pairing code. Family members enter this code into the free Frameo companion app (available on Android and iOS) to link their smartphones directly to the frame.
• Real-Time Photo & Video Push: Relatives living across different cities or abroad can push high-resolution photos and short video clips directly to the recipient’s frame from their phones. The new memories pop up instantly on screen accompanied by an optional custom caption and notification chime.
• Multi-User Collaboration: An unlimited number of authorized family members can pair with a single frame, allowing siblings, children, and cousins to contribute to a shared dynamic family album simultaneously.
• Privacy-First Design: Unlike public cloud albums, Frameo uses end-to-end device-to-device transmission where images travel directly to the frame’s local memory without being stored on third-party public cloud servers.

32GB Built-In Storage with SD Card & Dual USB Ports

For households with extensive offline collections or older digitized film prints, XElectron provides versatile local storage options:

• 32GB Onboard Flash Memory: The device features 32GB of internal storage, which XElectron states can store over 80,000 photos locally without requiring external cards or ongoing cloud subscriptions.
• SD Card Slot: An integrated external SD card reader allows users to insert memory cards straight from DSLR cameras or action cams to view slideshows instantly.
• USB Type-A & Auxiliary Data Ports: Features standard USB Type-A and secondary data ports, allowing quick drag-and-drop batch imports and exports via pen drives or external hard drives without requiring computer synchronization.

Intuitive Touch Interface Tailored for Elderly Users

Setting up electronic appliances can often intimidate senior family members. XElectron addresses accessibility through simplified software design:

• Touch-First Navigation: Eliminating fragile, easily misplaced infrared remote controls, all slideshow transitions, brightness adjustments, and photo deletions are handled via an intuitive capacitive touch interface.
• Customizable Slideshows: Users can adjust image transition intervals (from 5 seconds to several hours), select background music, toggle time and weather widgets, and set automated sleep/wake schedules so the frame powers down overnight.

Market Positioning: The Value of Dedicated Digital Frames

In an era where smart TVs and smart home displays (like the Echo Show or Google Nest Hub) often serve as makeshift photo slideshows, dedicated digital frames maintain clear advantages:

1. Distraction-Free Visuals: Unlike smart displays that constantly rotate news tickers, calendar reminders, and sponsored ad widgets, the XElectron frame functions purely as an art piece dedicated to family memories.
2. Cost-to-Size Ratio: Traditional 15-inch smart home displays frequently retail above ₹25,000. At ₹10,990, XElectron delivers a large Full HD canvas at less than half that cost.
3. Pioneer Brand Trust: With over 13 years of category leadership in the Indian digital photo frame market, XElectron backs the device with established domestic service centers and an official one-year warranty.
