Nokia Upcoming Smartphones Nokia 8 Pro and Nokia 9 with Penta Lens
Nokia recently unveiled Nokia 8 Sirocco at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2018 as a major upgraded version of Nokia 8 flagship. Now, according to fresh information, HMD Global will launch two major flagship smartphones “Nokia 8 Pro and Nokia 9” this year. Both flagships will be powered by Snapdragon 845 chipset. But Nokia 8 Pro will cheaper and Nokia 9 will be a Premium Flagship Smartphone.
Rumor suggests that Nokia 9 will arrive with a 5.7-inch display. with an 18:9 aspect ratio display. The rumor also suggests that it will arrive with an under-display fingerprint sensor. It may arrive with higher storage and RAM than the Nokia 8 Pro.
According to information the Nokia 9 may feature Penta-lens setup. The features of Penta-lens setup are-rotatory lens system, five different aperture levels, up to 10x optical zoom and dual OIS and PDAF. This flagship will definitely compete with other branded flagships. It is expected to launch in September this year.
According to previous month rumor, the handset was spotted with dual edge curved display panel and dual camera setup.
Nokia 8 Pro is expected to debut earlier than Nokia 9 in August this year. Rumor suggests that it comes with a 5.5-inch display, powered by Snapdragon 845 SoC.
Nokia’s 2017 Smartphones List and Their Processors
In January, a leaked slide had revealed that Nokia would be launching six to seven smartphones this year. A Chinese leakster who holds a consistent track record about many leaks related to Nokia in the past has revealed that Nokia will be releasing 7 smartphones this year. Not only this, he has mentioned the list of 7 Nokia smartphones for 2017 along with the processor that will be powering each one of them.
The Nokia 3 and Nokia 5 that was unveiled at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2017. These phones are respectively powered by MediaTek MT6737 and Snapdragon 430. The remaining four smartphones that are slated to launch in the second half of 2017 are Nokia 2, Nokia 7, Nokia 8 and Nokia 9.
According to the Chinese leakster, Nokia 2 will be available in Snapdragon 212 and a MediaTek processor. It indicates that Nokia 2 will be an entry-level smartphone. Some of the regions will be receiving its Snapdragon edition whereas other regions will be getting its low-end MediaTek processor version.
The Nokia 7 will be driven by Snapdragon 630 chipset and the Nokia 8 would be a more powerful smartphone as the Snapdragon 660 chip will be giving power to it. Previous leaks have revealed that the Nokia 7 would be coming with a single rear camera but the Nokia 8 would be equipped with a dual rear camera system from Zeiss.
An unknown Nokia phone had appeared on AnTuTu with Snapdragon 660 could be the Nokia 8 smartphone. The AnTuTu listing revealed that it would be equipped with a 2K screen, 6 GB of RAM, a native storage of 64 GB, a pair 12-megapxiel rear camera sensors and Android 7.1.1 Nougat. The Nokia 7 may feature a full HD display.
Nokia 9 is expected to come with a 5.3-inch QHD display, 13-megapixel dual rear cameras, and 8 GB RAM and it is expected to be launch with a price tag of $699.

Nokia 9 Case Images Leak, Reveals Phone Design and Camera Placement
HMD Global unveiling its flagship device, the Nokia 9. We have seen the device appear on benchmarking sites and even live images although wrapped up in a case. It is said to have even gotten its FCC certification. Now images of cases for the Nokia 9 appears online and they do reveal a number of features.
There is a cut-out for dual cameras at the back in a vertical position and that’s about all there is to the rear. The case shows the power button and volume rocker will be on the right and the audio jack will be at the top.
The bottom of the phone is where the USB type-C port and primary microphone are placed. There is a single cut-out flanking the charging port on the left and that is definitely for the speakers.
The Nokia 9 will come with stereo speakers just like the Nokia 6. The Nokia 6 has its speakers on one side and it appears HMD is using the same design for the Nokia 9. The case also reveals the phone will come with rounded corners.
The Nokia 9 is expected to launch with a 5.3-inch QHD display with Gorilla Glass 5, the Snapdragon 835 mobile platform and 6GB or 8GB of RAM. It will have a 13MP rear camera in front and one of the sensors on the back will also be a 13MP sensor. Storage is 64GB with support for expansion.

The flagship is pegged to come with a pair of 13-megapixel rear shooters. And it is expected to unveil in Q3 this year with a price tag of $699.
Nokia new Feature Phones Appear On TENAA
HMD Global recently released the Nokia 3310 (2017) as an upgraded edition of the old Nokia 3310 feature phone. Now, a new feature phone from Nokia is expected to release in the near future as a couple of photos of the phone has appeared on TENAA, the Chinese telecom regulatory body. In the past week, the Nokia 105 (2017) had also appeared on TENAA.
The upcoming feature phone from Nokia has a model number of TA-1017. Like the Nokia 3310 (2017), the next feature phone from the firm will not be supporting 3G data connectivity. It is likely that Nokia may release a 3G edition of the phone.
The phone features a plastic body and has a candy bar design. The rear side of the phone features a camera that lacks a LED flash. It appears that the phone is running S30+ UI. The previous week, the alleged Nokia 105 (2017) had also appeared on TENAA. Speculations suggest the phone may launch as Nokia 130.
The alleged Nokia 105 (2017) in white carries a model number of TA-1010 and its black variant has a model number of TA-1034. The Nokia 105 was first announced in 2013. A revamped edition of the phone with Nokia 105 (2015) moniker was launched by Microsoft in 2015. The Nokia 105 (2017) seems to be a cheaper model than the alleged Nokia 130.
Nokia is expected to release a couple of phones starting from the third quarter of this year. The Nokia 9 is speculated as the upcoming flagship phone from the company.

Nokia 9 Snapdragon 835 Antutu Benchmark
The Nokia 9 has already appeared on other benchmarking sites. And now it appears on Antutu benchmark.
The Nokia 9 is listed as Nokia TA-1004.
Specifications(according to Antutu):
The phone runs Android 7.1.1. There is a Snapdragon 835 processor under the hood and an Adreno 540 GPU. The display size isn’t mentioned but previous leaks puts it at 5.3-inches. However, AnTuTu confirms the Quad HD resolution. Now that’s some serious pixel density (554ppi) on the Nokia 9.
The Nokia 9 will come with 4GB RAM and 64GB of storage. There will also be a 13MP rear camera and another 13MP sensor up front.

A New Phone Listed On GeekBench With 8GB RAM
“A new phone listed GeekBench 8gb RAM.” The Nokia flagship expected to be released in the third quarter of this year. The Nokia 9 leaks still keep coming out. At this time new listed device on GeekBench is believed to be the Nokia.
A new Geekbench listing said to be the Nokia 9 has appeared on Geekbench’s database. The device is listed as “Unknown Heart” but is believed to be the Nokia. The device is listed with 8GB RAM and powered by octa-core Qualcomm chip clocked at 1.90GHz.
Previous leaked Nokia 9 photo had earlier appeared online showing some details. The displayed information gave the model name as “Heart (Unknown)” and indication this could be the expected Nokia flagship.
