OPPO A77 With 4GB RAM, Snapdragon 625 Listed On Official Website

The OPPO A77 has released a few months ago. Now the company has released another version of Oppo A77 with a different design and configuration.

The company has made changes in the design of the rear camera. The new A77 rear camera got a new design and it looks like featuring a dual camera but in actual fact, it is just a single sensor and LED flash.


The OPPO A77 features a 5.5-inch 1920 x 1080 display. It comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of built-in storage. It is powered by Snapdragon 625 and the octa-core chip is clocked at 2.0GHz and has an Adreno 506 processor.

For Photography there is a 16MP front facing the camera with a f/2.0 aperture. It also supports HDR just like the rear camera. The rear camera is 13MP with an aperture of f/2.2.

The OPPO A77 runs Android 7.1.1 out of the box with OPPO’s ColorOS 3.1 on top. There is a 3200mAh battery, the company claims should last up to 13 hours of video playback.

The OPPO A77 comes in black, gold, and rose gold color and priced at $326.

A slide from an OPPO training presentation has seemingly leaked online, revealing some of the specifications of OPPO’s upcoming A77 mid-range smartphone.

The leaked slide has revealed that the A77 will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625, which is surprising since the chip is more than a year old.

The A77 will also be powered by a 5.5-inch 1080p display as well as 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. Other revealed specifications include a 3200mAh battery and Android 7.1 Nougat.

The official price of the OPPO A77 wasn’t leaked though so we’ll just have to wait until the phone is officially announced, which should be in the next few weeks.

Oppo A77 was launched in May this year. Now, new editions of OPPO A77 have appeared on TENAA with A77 and A77t listings. Not only the editions are different some specifications are also different.

The OPPO A77 that is currently available in Taiwan is driven by 1.5 GHz MediaTek MT6750T chipset and it is running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS. However, the newer OPPO A77 models are powered by a same 2.0 GHz octa-core processor. Also, they are preloaded with Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS. It will be customized with the latest edition of Color OS. It is speculated that the new models are running on Snapdragon 625 or Helio P10 chip.  The A77 and A77t smartphones are equipped with 3,115mAh battery which is smaller compared to the 3,200mAh battery from OPPO A77.

Like the original OPPO A77, the new models come with 5.5-inch TFT screen that supports full HD resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels. There are a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 16-megapixel selfie camera on both the new models. The original A77 also features the same set of cameras. These new models have the same 4 GB RAM and 64 GB internal storage.

The new OPPO A77 seems to be heading to Mainland China as the device has received TENAA certification. At present, there is no information on its pricing and availability. The original OPPO A77 was introduced in Taiwan for NTD 10,990 (~$362).

The Chinese smartphone manufacturer recently released a new ad for the phone but still didn’t mention a release date. As is typical of OPPO, their flagship phone usually gets a bigger variant with the suffix “Plus” added to it. The R11 will be no different, seeing as the OPPO R11 Plus has surfaced on TENAA.


The OPPO R11 Plus will feature a larger 6.0-inch display with the same 1080p resolution as the R11. The phone runs Android 7.1.1 Nougat and is powered by a 2.2GHz octa-core processor (likely Snapdragon 660), and it comes with 6GB of RAM and storage has been kept at 64GB, though with the option for expansion via a MicroSD slot.

The OPPO R11 Plus will also sell for about ¥700 (∼$100), (roughly Rs.6600).

Chinese smartphone maker Oppo has continued its A series by launching new A77. It will be made available in Gold and Rose Gold colors. Priced at TWD 10,990 (Rs. 23,400), it will go on pre-order in Taiwan on Friday, May 19 and will be made available starting May 26.

The OPPO A77 features a metal unibody design with a capsule shaped home button on the front, which also doubles as a fingerprint scanner.


This phone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek MT6750T SoC clocked at 1.5GHz nad has 4GB of RAM. It runs ColorOS 3.0 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and sports a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels).

The Oppo A77 comes with a 13-megapixel primary camera with an f/2.2 aperture, PDAF, and dual LED flash. At the front, the smartphone has a 16-megapixel camera with f/2.0 aperture. The company claims that with its Background Blur feature, the phone is able to create a depth-of-field effect through its Portrait mode.

In terms of connectivity options, the phone offers 4G LTE connectivity, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS, as per a report by Gadget Blaze. The phone comes with a fingerprint scanner embedded in the home button at front.

The Oppo A77 comes with 64GB of inbuilt storage, expandable via microSD card (up to 128GB), and it is packed with a 3200mAh of battery.
