Huawei Wi-Fi X Portable Router Launched with 24-Hour Battery, 5.3Gbps download Speed for Streamers and Travelers

Huawei has launched a new portable router called Wi-Fi X designed for people who need fast and stable internet on the go like streamers, travelers, and remote workers.​

The router has a unique X-shaped foldable design that lifts its antennas for better signal which Huawei claims can boost signal strength by about 13%. It packs a big 12,000mAh battery offering up to 24 hours of continuous internet use on a single device so it can easily last a full day of work or live streaming.​

For speed, Wi-Fi X supports up to 5.3Gbps download and 1Gbps upload in ideal conditions using a 4T4R setup, triple-carrier aggregation, and 16 built-in antennas for 360-degree coverage. Huawei says this is enough for smooth 4K live streaming and fast large file transfers, even in areas with weaker signals.​

To keep things cool during heavy use the device uses a special cooling system with dual-layer graphene and high-conductivity materials. Huawei has also partnered with China Mobile to offer dedicated network services and priority features tailored for live streaming and reliable performance.

In China the Wi-Fi X is priced at 2499 yuan (around 364 dollars) and comes with three monthly data plans: 200GB for 199 yuan, 350GB for 299 yuan, and 500GB for 399 yuan. For now it is only available in China and Huawei has not yet confirmed if it will launch in other countries.
