Lenovo has introduced new devices in its Smart Home portfolio, including the Lenovo Smart Plug, Smart Camera, and Smart Bulb. These smart home essentials are said to be set up and controlled via a Lenovo Link App. Alongside smart home essentials, Lenovo also introduced three new Chromebooks — Lenovo Yoga Chromebook C630, Chromebook C330, and the Chromebook S330. Lenovo Yoga Chromebook C630 price, specifications
The Yoga Chromebook pricing starts at EUR 799 (~Rs. 66,200) and will be available in EMEA regions from October.
Lenovo also announced multiple Chromebooks at the IFA event and the Yoga Chromebook C630 is the premium version. It features an IPS touchscreen and you can select between a full-HD and 4K display options. It offers a convertible design. and is powered by an 8th Gen Intel Core i5 processor paired with 8GB RAM+ 64GB/128GB internal storage options.
Lenovo Yoga Chromebook C330, S330 price, feature
The Lenovo Yoga Chromebook C330 and the S330 pricing starts at €349 (~Rs. 28,800) and EUR 279 (~Rs. 23,100) and will be available in EMEA regions from November.
Lenovo’s Chromebook C330 features an 11.6-inch touchscreen with HD resolution. It has a convertible design so users can choose between a tent, tablet, laptop, and stand mode. There’s a MediaTek MT8173C processor, paired with 4GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB storage options. For connectivity options, it includes a USB Type-C port, USB 3.0 port, HDMI, Bluetooth 4.1, and WiFi 802.11 ac.
On the other hand, the Yoga Chromebook S330 features a 14-inch IPS touch display and buyers have the option to choose between HD and full-HD resolution. It has the same processor that is available in the C330 with 4GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB onboard storage options.
Lenovo Smart Home Essentials
Earlier this year Lenovo had launched their first smart Home Essential device as a part of Google’s Smart Display. Now the company has launched a Smart Plug that can be plugged into a regular socket. Using this Smart Plug user can control devices that are plugged into it. Means you can remotely switch on/ off any appliance that is plugged into the smart plug. Lenovo says that it’s built in a way to avoid blocking adjacent ports and that it also has a surge protector built-in.
Lenovo also launched Smart Camera, it is a surveillance camera. The Smart Camera allows the user to watch live video footage. It has a 355º side to side field-of-view and a 120º up and down view. Apart from this, it has also support for infrared night vision up to a distance of 20 meters. The Smart Camera also has a mic and a speaker which provides the two-way audio capability.
Along with the Smart Plug and Camera, Lenovo also announced a Smart Bulb that can be plugged into a normal bulb socket. Since it is a Smart Bulb you can control it wirelessly. Apart from switching it on and off wirelessly, you can also control the color temperature and the brightness using voice command. It has also feature to self-automated at specific times of the day.
All these smart devices can be controlled by using the Smart Display or using a single Lenovo Link app. The Lenovo Smart Essentials range of products will be available in the US in November and lately, the company can make it available to other markets including EMEA and Australia.
