Samsung, LG Preparing For iPhone 8
Samsung and LG are said to be working on new Galaxy S8 with additional color options “Rose Gold” and LG G6 “Pro and Plus” variants, which will feature different amounts of onboard storage. According to The Investor Samsung Electronics and LG Electronics are gearing up for the upcoming launch of Apple’s new iPhone, tentatively called iPhone 8, in September.
Samsung is also launching a refurbished version of the Note 7, dubbed Galaxy Note FE, as early as this month. The phone is likely to be priced at about 700,000 won (US$626). It is interesting that render images of the S8+ bearing the same hue (pictured below) recently popped up on Chinese website Weibo.
LG, on the other hand, is rumored to be working on two new phones: the LG G6 Pro and G6 Plus. The LG G6 Pro will come with 32GB of internal storage while the G6 Plus will have 128GB of storage and wireless charging. The former will be priced at 790,000 Won (~$706) and the G6 Plus will sell for 1 million Won (~$894).
we can expect from both companies to launch their phone in September and October if we are to follow last year’s schedule.
