The Mi Mix 2S flagship is almost ready for launch on March 27, this flagship is powered by Snapdragon 845 SoC. On the other hand, the Chinese company Xiaomi is planning to launch Xiaomi Mi 7 just after few months of Mix 2S release. The Mi 7 is expected to be unveiled in April or May.
Now the Geekbench benchmarking platform listed a device on their website which codenamed as Xiaomi Dipper. The new listed device may be the next flagship as the Mi 7 from the company.
The Xiaomi uses constellation for codenaming its Mi series of smartphones such as the Mi 6, Mi 5S Plus, Mi 5S and Mi 5 were respectively codenamed as Sagit, Natrium, Capricorn, and Gemini. So the codename “Dipper” could refer to Big Dipper constellation.
According to Geekbench listening to the Xiaomi Dipper is powered by Snapdragon 845 chipset along with 6 GB of RAM. It runs on Android 8.0 Oreo. It scores 2449 in the single-core test while in multi-core test, it scores 8309.
It may feature a 6.01-inch OLED display by Samsung that will also bring along Always-On Display function. A new rumor also suggests that it will pack with 8GB of RAM, 128GB of inbuilt storage, and a dual 16-megapixel camera setup. Under the hood, the Mi 7 might come with a 4480mAh battery.
