Zenfone MAX Pro M1 with 5,000mAh battery, launch on Flipkart on April 23

Flipkart Big Announcement — a long-term partnership with Taiwan-based smartphone manufacturer Asus to launch products specially designed for Indian customers. After this partnership, Asus will definitely reach to the right audience in the Indian market.

Since Flipkart became the Asus’s premier partner and seller for smartphones, the Zenfone Max Pro M1 will be the first phone of the Asus-Flipkart partnership and will go on sale from April 23rd.

At the conference, Flipkart CEO Kalyan Krishnamurthy said, “Flipkart has driven the adoption of smartphones in India, and grown the market, through innovations and a deep sense of knowing what consumers want. With this partnership with Asus, we are multiplying those efforts to build smartphones truly customized for India.”

The Max Pro M1 is the successor of Zenfone Max Pro which was launched in August last year. A fresh information from GsmArena revealed key specifications of the Zenfone Max Pro M1 —The phone will be pack with a massive 5,000mAh battery and will be powered by 14nm Snapdragon 636 chipset.

The phone comes with a 6” screen with an 18:9 aspect ratio and will run “Pure Android Oreo”, not specified Android One or not. The handset might come in two variants —a 4 GB / 32 GB version and a top variant with 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB or higher storage. For external microSD card, there will be a dedicated slot alongside with two SIM slots.

For photography, the Zenfone Max Pro M1 will feature a dual rear camera setup of a 16MP sensors and for selfie a 16MP sensor which will also work as face unlock. The phone also includes a “5 magnet” speaker with a dedicated NXP amp and a fingerprint sensor at the back of the phone which works faster in 0.3 seconds.
