Nubia M2 With Dual Cameras Launched in India
Nubia has now launched its M2 smartphone for the Indian market on Friday. Nubia unveiled its M2 smartphone back in March this year and the smartphone comes with a dual camera setup and an impressive 4GB of RAM.
The highlights feature on the Nubia M2, the smartphone sports a dual camera setup with two 13-megapixel Sony CMOS sensors, with one capturing color information and the other capturing monochrome, both with sapphire glass protection and a f/2.2 aperture. At the front, it has a 16-megapixel camera with a f/2.0 aperture and an 80-degree wide-angle lens. “The videos don’t pixelate, and 4 times slow playback ensures that every memory can be brought alive,” the company said in its release.
The Nubia M2 runs Nubia UI 4.0 based on Android Marshmallow, and sports a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) On-cell AMOLED display. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 SoC coupled with 4GB of RAM. The Nubia M2 comes with 64GB of built-in storage, which is further expandable via microSD card (up to 200GB), in India. Notably, the company has not launched the 128GB built-in storage variant in the country.
The connectivity options offered by the smartphone include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v4.1, OTG, USB Type-C, and GPS. It houses a 3630mAh battery with NeoPower 2.5 fast charging support. The Nubia M2 measures 154.5×75.9x7mm and weighs 168 grams. It comes with a fingerprint sensor on the home button and support for Dolby Sound 7.1 and Hi-Fi audio.

Nubia M2 will be exclusively on Amazon India. Priced at Rs. 22,999, the Nubia M2 will be made available exclusively for Amazon Prime members during the Prime Day Sale starting from July 10. The handset will be made available in Champagne Gold and Black Gold colors in the country.
ZTE Nubia Z17 Arriving Soon in India with 8 GB RAM
ZTE has recently released the Nubia N2 in India with a pricing of Rs. 15,999. The smartphone has as a successor for Nubia N1 that was released in India in December 2016. ZTE had released the Nubia N1 along with 2016 flagship, the Nubia Z11. Now, the Chinese smartphone is rumored to be getting ready to launch its most powerful flagship smartphone, the Nubia Z17, in India.
The latest information suggests that the Chinese firm is already testing the Nubia N17 in India. The Nubia Z17 flagship phone was released in China in the previous month. It is the first smartphone in the world to come with Quick Charge 4+. This feature makes it possible to charge zero to 50 percent in only 25 minutes by using a supported charger. The Nubia Z17 comes with a 3,200mAh battery.
The Z17 comes with a 5.5-inch IPS LCD true bezeless display that supports a full HD resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels. In China, the 2017 ZTE flagship phone is available in RAM and storage combinations of 6 GB RAM and 64 GB storage, 6 GB RAM and 128 GB storage and 8 GB RAM and 128 GB storage. OnePlus 5’s 8 GB RAM model is available in India. However, there is no confirmation on the Nubia Z17 models that will be available in India.
Another amazing feature of the ZTE Nubia Z17 is that it features a dual rear camera system featuring a 23-megapixel sensor and a 13-megapixel sensor. The dual camera support 2x optical zoom and 10x dynamic zoom. Its front-facing camera is of 16-megapixel. It sports an IP67 certified aluminum chassis.
The three variants of the Nubia Z17 are selling for 2,799 Yuan (~$410), 3,399 Yuan (~$497) and 3,999 Yuan (~$585) in China. Meanwhile, ZTE is also preparing for the launch of Nubia Z17 Lite in China as it has already received approval from TENAA certification body in China.
Nubia N2 Released in India with 5000mAh Battery, 4GB RAM
ZTE’s sub-brand announced the Nubia N2 in India and it packs some interesting features. The Nubia N2 is the successor to the Nubia N1 released in July last year.
The Nubia N2 has a 5.5 display but it is now AMOLED and the resolution has been cut to 1280 x 720. The phone is powered by an MT6750 processor. This is an octa-core chip released last year but still suitable for the phone since its cortex-A53 cores are power efficient.
There is 4GB of RAM paired with 64GB of storage with the option for expansion. The main camera is a 13MP Sony IMX258 sensor with a f/2.2 aperture and dual LED flash. Front facing camera is a 16MP Samsung sensor with an 80° wide-angle lens.
The Nubia N2 ditches the rear fingerprint sensor for a front-mounted one embedded under the newly redesigned home button. There is a dual hybrid SIM slot, VoLTE, an audio jack and a USB Type-C port. Nubia says the 5000mh battery should last up to 3 days on standby and provide up to 60 hrs of talk time. Sadly, it comes with Android Marshmallow out of the box.
The N2 is already available on Amazon India for Rs. 15,999 (∼$247) in gold and black gold.
Nubia NX907J Appears on TENAA 2900mAh Battery
Nubia is a sub-brand of ZTE and preparing to launch a new device. A Nubia NX907J was seen on TENAA getting certified and the specs show it is heading to the low-tier mid-range category.
The Nubia NX907J has a 5.5-inch 720p display. There is 2GB of RAM on board paired with 16GB of storage. Additional storage can be added via a microSD slot that accepts up to 128GB cards. Its 1.4GHz octa-core processor is probably one of the Snapdragon 400 series.
There is a 13MP rear camera on the Nubia NX907J with LED flash and a 5MP front facing camera. Android 6.0.1 comes pre-installed and a 2900mAh battery supplies power.
However, there is no information available about the release date.
Nubia Z17 Lite Allegedly Surfaces on TENAA
The Nubia Z17 flagship smartphone that was released recently is one of the most powerful smartphones of this year. Now, the Nubia Z17 Lite has surfaced on TENAA with a model number of NX591J.
According to TENAA listing, the NX5911 Nubia phone measures 152.8 x 72.55 x 7.95mm and its weight are 169 grams. It features a 5.5-inch TFT screen that offers FHD resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels. Below the display is the trademark red ring Home button. The alleged Nubia Z17 Lite is fueled by 2.0 GHz octa-core processor. It will be coming with a 3,100mAh battery which is slightly smaller than the 3,200mAh battery present on the Nubia Z17.
The alleged Nubia Z17 Lite features 6 GB of RAM. The native storage of the phone is 64 GB. The phone features a dual rear camera system. However, the TENAA listing only reveals the main camera of the dual camera module as 12-megapixel and it does not mention any information about the secondary camera sensor. A dual-LED flash can be seen next to the twin camera system.
Since the device has appeared on TENAA, it seems that the arrival of the Nubia Z17 Lite is close at hand. At present, there is no information on the pricing and availability of the phone.
The Nubia Z17 that is currently only available in China is the world’s first smartphone to support Quick Charge 4+ rapid charging feature from Qualcomm. Moreover, it is also the first Snapdragon 835 smartphone with 8 GB of RAM.
ZTE Nubia M2 Play Smartphone Launched with SD 435
Nubia has recently launched Nubia Z17 mini and Nubia Z17 earlier this month. Now Nubia has launched a new camera phone Nubia M2 Play. The main thing is highlighted in this smartphone is the camera.
It is not a high-end phone because it is powered by Snapdragon 435, we all know Snapdragon 450, not a powerful processor.
The ZTE Nubia M2 Play is a dual-SIM 4G smartphone that comes with a metallic chassis and its front features a 2.5D curved glass that houses a 5.5-inch TFT screen that offers a resolution of 1,280 x 720 pixels along with a pixel count of 271 ppi. The fingerprint reader is also placed under the front glass.
It is powered by Snapdragon 435 which is coupled with 3GB of RAM. It comes with 32GB of inbuild storage but user can expand it microSD card up to 128GB. It supports USB Type-C adapter.
The Nubia M2 Play offers a 13-megapixel rear camera from Sony with f/2.2 aperture. It comes with features like intelligent noise reduction, 3D noise reduction, blazing fast focus speed, and dim light photography. Its frontside features a 5-megapixel f/2.4 aperture lens with support 84-degree wide-angle selfie shooting.
It is running on Android 7.0 Nougat OS that is overlaid with nubia UI 5.0 skin from the company. It is packed with a 3,000mAh battery.
